Compare the cost and value of a monthly print club subscription versus buying individual prints. See which option saves you money and fits your art collecting style.
Quick answer
For regular collectors, the Monthly Print Club subscription offers better value per print and includes a bonus sticker each month. If you only want a single piece occasionally, buying one-time prints is simpler and avoids commitment.
Why subscription value matters
The Monthly Print Club delivers a postcard-size print plus a vinyl sticker every month for USD 4.44, compared to a catalog price of USD 6.00 for the same items if bought separately. That's a saving of over 25% per month, plus you avoid Patreon platform fees and get your mail faster by ordering directly on the website.
The main trade-off is commitment: with a subscription you pay monthly and receive rewards for the month you sign up. If you skip a month, you miss that specific print and sticker. One-time purchases let you pick exactly what you want, when you want it, with no recurring charge.
Trade-offs at a glance
- Cost per delivery: Monthly Print Club: USD 4.44 per month (catalog comparison USD 6.00). One-time prints: typically sold at the catalog price of USD 6.00 for the same items. Subscription saves roughly 25% per month if you want a new print regularly.
- Bonus item: Monthly Print Club includes a vinyl sticker every month. One-time prints may or may not include a sticker depending on the specific product. Sticker lovers get extra value from the subscription.
- Commitment and flexibility: Subscription: you pay monthly and receive the reward for the sign-up month; you cannot choose the print design. One-time: you buy exactly the print you want, when you want, with no ongoing obligation. Choose subscription for surprise and savings; choose one-time for control and zero commitment.
